Jean-Pierre Berry (French horn) is the professor of the Geneva University of Music and professor of the Lausanne University of Music.

Graduated from the Conservatoire de Paris (class of Prof. Georges Barboteu).

Jean-Pierre Berry was awarded for playing French horn in the genre of chamber music. Performing modern music with “IRCAM” ensemble he won the Second Prize of the Toulon International Contest and the SPEDIDAM special prize.

From 1996 Jean-Pierre Berry has been working as a French horn soloist in the Orchestra of Cannes. In 2000 he became the first French horn and the soloist of the Nice Opera and the first soloist of the French Switzerland Orchestra (2004).

As a soloist, Jean-Pierre Berry participates in numerous concerts; he plays the compositions of B. Britten, O. Messiaen, masterpieces of J. Strauss and W.A. Mozart with orchestra.
