Shorosheva Liudmila

Folk Instruments

Candidate of Arts, winner of international competitions, Liudmila Shorosheva was educated at P.I. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (1998) and since the same year she has been playing with the National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments. In 2002 she graduated from the post-graduate studies at the P.I. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, where she began to work as a senior lecturer.

Since 2008 Ludmila Shorosheva is a soloist of the National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Ukraine. In 2010 she was awarded by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In 2011 L. Shorosheva defended her thesis and received the title of Candidate of Arts.

Liudmila Shorosheva is the art-director and soloist of the orchestra ШARAVARABAND (2014).

Ludmila, who is a soloist and, concurrently, our director, is a very fanatical person. Because in our time it is a great challenge to promote such forgotten and unpopular instrument as Ukrainian kobza.
