Born in Polotsk (Belarus), Vladislav studied music from the age of five under the guidance of M. Ivashkin. In 1993, at the age of seven, he performed the whole "Children's Album" by Tchaikovsky at the international competition in St. Petersburg, which brought him first recognition. Vladislav graduated from the Belarusian State Music Academy (cl.prof., Honored Artist of Belarus M. Sevryukov).
Vladislav Plihovka is a soloist of the Belarusian State Philharmonic, he is the winner of numerous international competitions such as: XXXV International Accordion Competition – 1st Prize (Klingenthal, Germany, 1998), V International Accordion Competition – 1st Prize (Vilnius, Lithuania, 2002), VI International Beloborodov Competition – Grand Prix (Tula, Russia, 2003), IX International Competition "Spring Voices" – 1st Prize (Moscow, Russia, 2005), International Festival of Accordion Players (Beijing, China, 2007), The Second International Competition Major League Accordion Skills «AccoHoliday» – 1st Prize (Kyiv, 2007), Pacific Accordion Championship – 1st Prize (Sydney, Australia, 2008), International Competition in Castelfidardo (Italy) – 1st Prize (2008) and many others.
