Tamara Rusanova is the Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor of Special Piano Chamber of the Gnessins State Music College, laureate of international competitions, Candidate Art Studies, director of the Concert and Educational Department of RUS "Schubert Society”.
She is a musician, researcher and professor. She performs solo concerts, conducts scientific and practical seminars on the piano-playing and pedagogy, master-classes in Russia and abroad (the USA, Germany, Great Britain, Italy and others). She has made presentations at scientific conferences. She also participates in the work of the jury of international competitions and festivals.
Tamara Rusanova is the author of scientific publications and educational programs for pianists. Her works are dedicated to the interpretation of piano music of romantic composers. She is the author of the monograph "The last sonatas of Franz Schubert. Composition and interpretation”.
Tamara Rusanova has taught more than 100 musicians-pianists, among them there are about 30 winners of international competitions, 4 Candidates of Art Studies.
